Do good people deserve to die?

I do not need religion to answer this. In fact, I'm trying to find this one particular answer that was given on Yahoo! Answers before but I can't seem to find it anymore. It goes along the lines of the good dying because they have exceeded their earthly good. I'm trying to find the right word choices...
