As a Christian do you hate rich people?

I am an Atheists, but Christianity is fascinating to me. So I wanted to know, as a devout Christian, do you hate the rich? Jesus said "it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter heaven." Following it up that if a rich man wished to gain entrance to heaven he must give away all of his earthly things. Based on that, do you think that rich people are evil? And if so, should you come into a great deal of wealth, would you give it away?
