Bible verse ideas for mucus/earthly things..?

So for a science fair project, my partner and I are doing it on mucus. We are using snails and testing how much mucus they secrete over different surfaces. But we also need a Bible verse to go with it. Any ideas? I'm having lots of trouble finding one myself..
